This New Music Friday, country music superstar Chase Rice surprised his huge worldwide fanbase by dropping his brand new record titled ‘The Album Part 1’. Part 2 of the project will follow later this year.
The release of new music follows the success of the multi-platinum selling singer/songwriters string of sold-out UK shows – he is currently on the road in Germany as he finishes up the European leg of his tour.
The new LP is the most definitive collection from Chase Rice to date. Speaking about the project, Chase says: “I chose to call this The Album because it’s the first thing I would encourage someone to listen to if they want to know who I am as an artist. My career has been such a rollercoaster journey, but it’s all led to this moment and these songs. So much of what I’ve learned, so much of what I’ve fought through – it’s all reflected in this music.”
New music from the Nashville based artist has been teased for a while now, ever since topping the charts for consecutive weeks with the No. 5 most-played country song of 2019 and digital streaming smash-hit (330M+), ‘Eyes On You’. Rice was eager to share new music in 2020 after seeing the incredible fan response at his concerts both in the States and internationally.
Speaking about the tracks global reach, Rice says: “‘Eyes On You’ and ‘Lonely If You Are’ were both huge for us at our live shows before they were even on the radio. We’ve recently started mixing in newer songs at our shows – sometimes within a day or two of writing them – and we can feel how passionately the fans respond. It’s clear that they’re eager for more new music, so we wanted to kick off the new year with this surprise!”
And now fans have been treated to a full-length album from Chase Rice with another to follow before the end of the year.
